What is Firenock "G" Series?
Firenock LLC brings missile arming technology, reliability of modern electronics to the archery industry. Firenock has successfully develop the "G" switch that is the same technology as 2nd arming switch as modern missile. (i.e. it need to sense a specific acceleration before it can be armed. This technology eliminates accidental misfire/self arming) This technology is the heart of Firenock LLC offering of our "G" series lighted nock. In plan english, you get a lighted nock that lit only when you shoot it out a bow/crossbow with no less than 125fps or it will not lit. Accidental turn on is no longer an issue as you can drop the arrow/bolt horizontally as high as 21'(7M) without being lit. Couple with the latest Mosfit electronic and assembly methods, mathematically we have achieve previously un think of 99.9999% reliability(1) for a lighted nock.
Firenock “G” series, unlike the previous magnetic activated Firenock’s products, the new Firenock “G” series products do not require a magnet for activation of the lighted nock system. Firenock “G” series just works like magic; the LED gets on when it is shot. There is no need for actuator magnet, actuator adaptor, sticker and accidentally “on” if the lighted nock system is exposed to a magnetic field. And there is no more issue if you lost your actuator in the field or drop it from tree stand. Firenock “G” series is really a high-tech piece of equipment with hunter’s mind designs.

Features of Firenock "G" series
Ultra small electronic lighted nock system
Firenock employs a double-sided SMT (
Surface Mount Technology) electronic circuit board to achieve ultra lightweight and extra high reliability. The circuit board is also epoxy coated to make it weatherproof.
Ultra-mini "G" switch
Firenock G employs the first ever commercial volume, ultra-mini "G" switch (
UMGS). Its size is about 2mm in diameter and about 6 mm in length. It has a 5 axis tolerance of no less than 1,500g which is unheard of in a lighted nock application. In plain English, you can drop your arrow horizontally to the floor as high as 21'(7M) without accidental turn on. Since the switch is directional, to turn it off, an eight inch drop on the nock will turn it off for hunting model. This capability makes accidental turn on a thing of the past. The UMGS used in Firenock is 24K gold plated inside, hermetically sealed, giving extreme reliable contact and corrosion resistance performance. This gives Firenock UMGS a mean time between failures of no less than 1,000,000 cycles.
Replaceable nock and reusable electronic parts
Most of the Firenock “G" series electronic components are contained inside a special design transparent polycarbonate plastic nock (Int. Pat., US Pat. Pending). This unique
Polycarbonate Plastic Nock anchors and offers protection to the heart of the system (Firenock “G" series circuitry) and this design allows Firenock “G “ series circuitry to be removable from nock. Thus Firenock “G” series nock is replaceable when it is worn out and Firenock “G” series circuitry can be reused.
Unique cross lock battery wire connector
All Firenock “G” series employ its (Int. Pat. and US Pat. Pending) cross lock battery wire connector to lock the battery in place. This special design battery wire connector eliminates the requirement of heavy casing and can absorb damaging shocks to the system when the shaft hits the game.
Enhancing your rate of game recovery
Unlike other brands’ lighted nock, Firenock “G” series will remain lit even when it is shot into solid object like bone, wood or stone. This tough property of Firenock “G” series is accomplished by the special design circuitry (US Pat. Pending). Once Firenock “G “ series circuitry is activated, it will remain lit until the circuitry is deactivated by the archer. This unique characteristic of the circuitry allows archers to track their game and this significantly increases the probability of game recovery.
Virtually installation free and failure free
For ease of testing of reliability, we design the Firenock “G” series circuitry to function even if it is removed from the shaft. Thus there should be virtually no failure after installation of Firenock as you can test the system before it is installed into the arrow shaft. For versatility, the polycarbonate plastic nock is engineered to be able to fit in different brands’ standard shaft. Thus archers can use different brand’s shaft according to their will and according to different hunting environments.
Super light
Firenock GSH adds ~15 grains to your normal hunting arrow. This makes Firenock “G” series the ultimate lighted nock system for today’s archers not just on reliability alone but also on weight (speed). In case of Firenock GEH, the net difference is only about 9 grains!
Ultra bright
With today’s high-speed bow, arrow can achieve a speed of > 300 ft/sec. Furthermore, with today’s real life camo finishing, it becomes almost impossible to visually trace your arrow after shooting. Under broad daylight, Firenock will let you see the entire arrow flight up to 65 yards. In total darkness, Firenock will let you see the flight even up to hundreds of yards.
The high intensity focus beam LED (Firenock "G" Series – 8,000 Lux) allows you to see Firenock under almost any lighting condition.
Ultra long lasting
With Firenock “G“ series low power consumption ultra bright LED, you can use Firenock “G” series as a location beacon to easily find the location of the downed game in the dark and to use it continuously for hours. Firenock “G” series will stay lit for 18-24 hours continuously, and 38-48 1-hour increment with a fresh Firenock power lithium pin type battery.
True Switch Technology
Firenock “G“ series use true switch technology to arm and disarm the light circuit system. Like a switch for lights, when it is not on there is ZERO power consumption/drain. Unlike other who use sleep or low drain systems, the shelf life of Firenock after installation is as long as the shelf life of the battery. In case of Firenock's lithium pin type battery, if store in 40°F it can be as long as 100 month(8+ years).
Hunter’s mind oriented
Firenock “G” series "S" style nock will add ~15 grains to your arrow. One should re-sight the bow for the difference. An arrow of 390 grains leaving the bow at 260 ft/sec, it would hit less than 1/2 ” lower at 20 yards according to our tests.
For practice purpose, each pack of Firenock “G" series includes matched-weight (+/- 1 grain) practice nocks in green color. You can use matched-weight practice nock to re-sight the bow and to save money. Not to mention have different color nocks for spare since nock are field changeable.
CONCLUSION
With the above features, we believe that Firenock “G” series offers the most advanced, the most compact, the most versatile, the lightest, the brightest, and the most dependable lighted nock available on the present market.
